Cyndi Smith

My life has had many twist and turns that have broadened my life experience. I am 40 years old and married to a wonderful man. We have four children, one of which is my step-son. I worked ten years as a case manager for a faith-based, addiction recovery program in Columbus, GA. I became interested in the medical field when I entered a phlebotomy tech program and studied anatomy and physiology. But my interest really developed when my husband was diagnosed with a rare, secondary, CNS vasculitis disease. This diagnosis propelled an incredible amount of various medications going into his system. Fortunately, as God ordered my steps, I was prepared to participate in his recovery through performing bi-monthly blood draws. As a result of this experience, my confidence in the medical world decreased significantly. Therefore I stand even more so firmly on the way, the truth and the life....Jesus Christ.
